10-Codes and Signals
We are often asked about the meaning of 10-codes and Signals used by
the Rescue Squad and why we do it. 10-codes are simply a way to quickly
and concisely say what you mean and clear the radio for other traffic.
Also numbers are easier to understand in times of poor radio signals.
